Proflush is a concentrated cooling system flush and descaler. Proflush is highly effective in removing oil, grease, sludge, scale and other impurities in radiators or cooling systems. Proflush is buffered for use with aluminium components and contains other corrosion inhibitors to protect reactive metals in the cooling systems. Proflush is non foaming and is economical to use.
Drain the contents of the system and thoroughly flush with clean water. Replace the drain plug. Add 350 ml of Proflush per 6 litres of water to the radiator and replace the cap. Leave in the cooling system for at least 30 minutes under normal operating conditions (include running the heater/AC at the hottest position). For best results, leave the mixture in the system for 24 hours under normal operating conditions
Once the system is cool completely drain Proflush from the system and dispose of appropriately.
Add a new charge of coolant to the system.
Suitable coolants / corrosion inhibitors are Proguard RCI, Proguard Longlife Organic, or Protemp Antifreeze/Antiboil
