Marina ZF 40 is a non chlorinated zinc free oil developed for medium speed marine and locomotive main propulsion and auxiliary trunk piston diesel engines. This technology is in wide use globally with a proven history of outstanding performance. Marina ZF 40 provides better engine oil efficiency with excellent ring and liner wear protection, cleaner top decks and reduced piston deposits. It has proven effective in extending oil drain intervals and filter life.

APPLICATION

This oil technology has been adopted by most railroads and inland marine operators globally because of improved performance and is approved for use in both GE and EMD locomotive engines as well medium speed marine engines. It is also suitable for medium speed engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems where an SAE 40 monograde oil is specified or indicated. It is suitable for marine main propulsion and auxiliary trunk piston diesel engines.
